Fabi Celestin hails from Lawrence, Massachusetts (north of Boston) and started his writing career in 2008. His main influences were all the popular 90s talent like Boys 2 Men, Jodeci, Jagged Edge, H Town, Brandy, Salt N Pepa, R Kelly, Keith Sweat, Soul 4 Real, Hi-Five and of course New Edition. Fabi is inspired to write and create music by his experiences through life ups and downs. His motto, Music is life only partially describes what is most important to him. The top priority can only be occupied by the loves of his life, his three children Jojo, Jaida, and Lexi, who he credits for making him the man he is today. Fabi's number one goal in life is making sure his kids don't have to go through what he went through with his father. His mother is of Haitian and Cuban decent, and a very hard working woman. She often held down two jobs to support him and his siblings. His father hadn't been around since he was 9 years old leaving him with the heavy burden of being the man of the house and taking care of his four younger brothers. This harsh reality caused Fabi to mature rapidly leaving little opportunity for a traditional childhood. Fabi reflects, there were days when I wished my father was around to give me advice or help me when I needed answers as I was hitting my teenage years. As the old adage goes, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. For Fabi the loss connection from his father figure and the added responsibilities he had to undertake did just that. Those tough times encouraged him and fostered a clear vision of what he wanted to pursue in order to take care of his family and be the example that anything is possible. After graduating from college, Fabi founded Creative Empire Group to provide artist development, management and songwriting services. He has worked with AME records, Quor Splash, Shamel Bryant, and Jano starting out. Currently Fabi is working on building his reference catalog. He released his first mixtape in the middle of 2008 called "More Than A Singer". He has also worked with a group called Rich Girl of Richcraft/RCA. His latest accomplishment is writing for the R&B group, Brutha who is signed with Def Jam recordings. His current production deal has allowed him to be creatively free which is something Fabi enjoys since it allows him to focus on creating the type of art that appeases him. His style of music can be described as something people can relate to whether they are experiencing good or bad relationships. He writes songs are meant to guide others through hard times in life, and to inspire the youth to believe in themselves. Fabi owes his songwriting career to his family and continues this journey to show them that dreams are meant to be chased, not slept on.
